SCP-316 MASS GROUP TEST
TESTING RISK: LOW | RESEARCH OUTCOME: HIGH
HIGH COMMAND DEBRIEF FILE | AUTHORIZED ACCESS ONLY
Introduction
"Imagine your whole world losing color. Imagine all of your grey matter being fried away, as you start to scream once you are unable to remember what even your hands are for. This, is SCP-316." -Dr. Axlr.
Salutations to all members of the Scientific Department reading this document. The following file is a debrief concerning the group test conducted on SCP-316, briefly discussing the initial research that supported the necessity for this test, the trials that followed, and then the compiled results and data of the research.
PRECEDING RESEARCH
"It was in that instance, when the blood on the glass set in and tinted, that I realized just what I really signed myself up for." - Researcher █████
SCP-316 is a bronze, aged carbide lamp. The casing corresponds to no manufactured models and appears to be homemade. The bulb is ordinary, and can be replaced without impeding the function of SCP-316. Internal circuitry of SCP-316 is constructed of an unknown metal, rather than copper. The casing has a battery compartment which takes two D batteries.
SCP-316 uniquely distinguishes itself from many of the other SCP anomalies on site via it's properties. SCP-316's light has the power to biologically alter anyone caught in it's peripherals. This causes them to change significantly, their skin being toned completely white and their speed being slowed significantly.
One aspect about this SCP that eluded my initial studies was it's lethal property. This property seemed to be random, triggering at an abrupt point and causing a Class-D to let out a scream effect as their health faded away and they perished. SCP-316's property in this regard absolutely warranted further research in my opinion, as outlined within this document.
GROUP-TEST METHODOLOGY
PRIMARY QUESTION: Concerning SCP-316's specialized lethal dangerous property, what are the criteria necessary for triggering this effect of SCP-316?
Authorized by the Scientific Department High Command, the goal of this group test was to precisely ascertain and understand the conditions necessary to trigger this lethal property. Previously, it was unknown what was necessary to cause it. Utilizing multiple different tests conducted by specialized personnel, the goal was to completely understand and document the conditions necessary for triggering this property.
Upon learning more, this group test would serve as the catalyst for further research to be conducted into this side of SCP-316, so that we could fully understand SCP-316 and it's properties, so that we could grow one step further to understanding the anomalous world as a whole.
Scientist designations for each participant:
Scientist A: adxrei
Scientist B: Arricabc
Scientist C: ChromeSkullss
Scientist D: jonnyscoony
Currently, all researchers have completed their respective test reports for the SCP and have compiled their data. Discussion of this can be found in the next tab, as well as links to these reports. Each scientist was also assigned a question pertaining specifically to them, so that each and every aspect of SCP-316 could be researched appropriately.
Scientist A: "If two CD interact with and expose themselves to SCP-316 at the same point, will one of them express 316's lethal property?"
Scientist B: "When one Class-D exposes themselves to SCP-316, and then after exposing themselves, has another Class-D activate SCP-316 and expose themselves separately, will any of them be affected by the lethal properties?"
Scientist C: "If four Class-D were to work in groups of two split, with two exposing themselves to SCP-316 together first, and then a second group of two CD exposing themselves to SCP-316 just after these, will any of the groups exhibit lethal properties?"
Scientist D: Scientist D: "In the event that one Class-D were to activate and expose themselves to SCP-316, and another Class-D stood ONLY in the peripheral lighting area of SCP-316, will they exhibit 317's lethal properties?"
PRIMARY HYPOTHESIS: The testing results of Scientist-A and Scientist-B will most likely be unsuccessful. Scientist-C and Scientist-D's tests will have a chance of triggering the lethal property, however. This is due to the research that has been suggested by my personal studies into SCP-316. Attempts to replicate this effect in the past done similarly with these procedures were not quite successful.
They still remain, however, as we must both confirm the results (Scientist-A), and double-check to make sure that SCP-316's lethal property isn't a double odds situation (Scientist-B). Scientist-C's test is to see how the property will act up in groups of two, together, to see if it can only flare up in the presence of other researchers. Scientist-D will test to see if this property only engages in the peripheral area of SCP-316.
GROUP TEST OUTCOME
RESULT OUTPUT: HIGH
In sum, the hypothesis was partially correct. While most tests conducted did not result in the effect being triggered, Scientist-D's test did manage to successfully encounter the lethal property of SCP-316. It is now believed that this property kicks in due to "improper" exposure to SCP-316, which results in some nasty biological effects that can have far reaching ramifications.
Future priority should be put towards ensuring the safety of Class-Ds during tests on SCP-316, so that researchers can avoid accidentally exposing their Class-D to SCP-316's lethal property and then finding themselves having to contend with it and potentially getting their results compromised.

Conclusion
"Sometimes, I try to close my eyes at night, but all I can see are those damned eyes." - Assistant Researcher "Chrome"
This concludes the debrief file for the group test conducted on SCP-316, as well as the end of the master report. Further information and in-depth testing specifics can be found in the provided testing reports, as well as upon inquiry. Hopefully, the results of this test will push us to greater understanding of SCP-316 and allow us to truly nail it's properties.
