Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter has been secured around SCP-XXXX's location. Additionally, a 24-hour rotating shift of armed security personnel are to patrol the outside of the perimeter, and surveillance systems are to be active 24/7 within the perimeter. Proper amnestic distribution procedures are to go into effect for any trespassers. The area has been declared as "Private Property" to further prevent these measures from having to take place.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a remote settlement within the Jerusalem Forest in Israel. The architecture within SCP-XXXX is of Baroque styling, and feature numerous references to figureheads/deities of the three main Abrahamic religions.

A thick yellow fog permanently envelops SCP-XXXX despite conflicting weather patterns outside its perimeter. Additionally, SCP-XXXX's source of light does not come from the sun, as diurnal cycles (day and night cycles) do not effect the pale-yellow glow illuminating the space within.

In the center of SCP-XXXX's town square is a statue depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Notably, the face of Christ has been caved in, leaving a pitch-black orifice in its place.

On the plaque below the statue, the following phrase is written in Aramaic, translated here into English:

Defiant men of Christ, rejoice! God has blessed us with unending salvation. Thou shalt bathe in the glory of Israel's golden ark. Thou shalt stay within God's blessed land. Thou shalt answer to him, and rid this place of temptation if Lucifer shalt show. Glory to God, Amen!

Present within SCP-XXXX are non-hostile humanoids with various bodily mutations and infections (designated SCP-XXXX-1). Mutations/infections that have been recorded include a disproportionate elongation of limbs, the leakage of fleshy viscera from various orifices, and the obscuration of facial features due to different tumors, overgrowths, and rashes.

Additionally, SCP-XXXX-1 instances are capable of limited speech patterns; usually pertaining to only one or two phrases that are repeated constantly. Some recorded example phrases are logged below, translated from Aramaic:

  • How could thou betray us?
  • Oh mighty God of Israel, what does thou want? A bull? A son? We are lost.
  • Our father, who art in heaven.
  • It came today: our punishment.
