Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: All discovered SCP-XXXX-1 instances are to be sealed off from the public. All missing person's reports that mention the keywords stairwell, stairs, or stair are to be wiped from Law Enforcement databases through seizure of documents and Foundation-issued TROJAN-OMNI detection bot.

Additionally, Class-C amnestics are to be distributed to all affected persons, targeting any memories related to an SCP-XXXX-1 instance.

Following Incident XXXX-A, all explorations into SCP-XXXX are to be limited to D-Class personnel only. All explorations into SCP-XXXX are as of now forbidden.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an extradimensional space accessible through stairwells (designated SCP-XXXX-1) located in various buildings around the world. As of 9/30/22, approximately 20,000 SCP-XXXX-1 instances have been logged into the Foundation's database.

It is unknown exactly when or how SCP-XXXX-1 instances become anomalous. But once they do, they begin to extend deeper than the dimensions of the building it resides in should be able to hold. It is currently unknown where exactly SCP-XXXX-1's endpoint is.

There is a limited amount of information regarding SCP-XXXX itself. Footage and audio within SCP-XXXX itself have emerged approximately one year after initial explorations of SCP-XXXX-1 instances concluded.1
