Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is stored in Site-678's Anomalous Photography archive. Foundation staff may request access to SCP-XXXX for research purposes, pending 04 approval.

Other items and documentation from or related to the Pinewood Valley Adventure Camp are located in the Research Department under Section E.

Additionally, the area formerly known as the Pinewood Valley Adventure Camp has been designated as private property. A Foundation security team is to monitor the location on a 24 hour basis.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a group photo containing four adults and twenty children. While sixteen of these individuals can be identified, eight are unrecognizable due to antimemetic properties.

SCP-XXXX was taken at the now-defunct Pinewood Valley Adventure Camp (PVAC) by Alex Ghore at the end of the July-August camp season in 2007. When interrogated, Ghore showed no recollection of the eight unidentified individuals. Other camp counselors had similar remarks.

12:23 AM, MDT: The rustling of metal is heard outside. The door to the office opens. Whittaker enters. He shoves a keychain into his pocket, and glances behind him before closing the door.

12:25 AM, MDT: Whittaker sneaks towards the desk and searches through all of the drawers.

12:28 AM, MDT: After reaching the bottom drawer, he curses under his breath, and heads to a shelf on the left.

12:29 AM, MDT: Security alarms go off. Whittaker panics, quickly scanning the shelf.

12:30 AM, MDT: Whittaker shakes his head and runs towards the exit, where he is met by posted security guards.

Note: Security staff immediately detained Whittaker, and took him to Site-678 for further questioning. Mr. Whittaker was under the impression that he was being detained by local Police.

GLASS opens the door to the interrogation room, addressing Whittaker with a thick, Southern accent.

GLASS: Evenin', Mr. Whittaker.

Whittaker: G- Good evening sir!

GLASS places a tablet on the table, pressing various buttons. Whittaker is visibly sweating.

GLASS: Alright, so-

GLASS spins the tablet around. It shows the video described in Security Log 1.

GLASS: -care to explain yourself? What are you doin' here?

Whittaker gulps.

Whittaker: Uh, this might sound… crazy. Just letting you know.

GLASS scoffs.

GLASS: Just spit it out.

Whittaker: Okay [deep breath]. So, I was looking for a photo.

GLASS: Of what?

Whittaker: A girl I saw in my dream.

GLASS cocks his head.

Whittaker: Sorry, sorry. Let me explain: when I was a counselor at that place I- there must have been something that happened, but I don't remember a lot of it. Little pieces keep coming back to me, though.

GLASS: Ya think these dreams are memories?

Whittaker: Yeah, yes sir.

GLASS: Alright, and when did this start happenin'?

Whittaker: Uh, beginning of the month I'd say.

GLASS: Hmm.

GLASS pauses for several seconds, before pressing his earpiece.

GLASS: Command, permission to remove SCP-XXXX from containment? Over.

GLASS's request is approved. Five minutes later, a researcher enters the room to hand a folder to GLASS.

GLASS reaches into the folder and takes out SCP-XXXX, sliding it towards Whittaker.

GLASS: Tell me: is there anythin' of significance to you in this photo, Mr. Whittaker?

Whittaker hovers his index finger over the picture.

Whittaker: Well, there's Andy, there's Frank, there's Sa-

Whittaker pauses.

Whittaker: Oh my God.

Whittaker puts his finger on the last camp counselor, one of the eight individuals obscured by the antimemetic agent.

Whittaker: That's her.

Requestee: Dr. Abby Glen

Description: Though it is unusual of us to involve civilians within our operations, Whittaker is a special case. Prior to his amnestication in 2007, Mr. Whittaker reported that he could not recognize any of the individuals in SCP-XXXX. Evidently, that has changed.

When briefed post-containment, Mr. Whittaker noted that the vision from the prior night allowed him to remember the location of the Headmaster's keys. With this in mind, I hypothesize that these memories eliminate the antimemetic properties of certain items, allowing for tangibility. To test this, I would like to request the use of Mr. Whittaker's memories as points of investigation.

Whenever a specific location within the Pinewood Valley Adventure Camp shows up in Mr. Whittaker's visions, I will send our primary Agent, Beau GLASS, to investigate the area to recover other previously-hidden evidence. Said evidence is to be kept at Site-678's containment wing for further study. If my hypothesis is proven, this will give us a basis to possibly fund a larger investigation surrounding the origin of SCP-XXXX's contents.

Additionally, I request that Mr. Whittaker and the individual detected in SCP-XXXX be officially designated as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 in our records.

Addendum 2 - Dream Logs

Subjects: SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 described calling out a child's name while traversing on horseback. Subject notes that its own voice distorts whenever it yells said name.

After calling out several times, the subject describes seeing SCP-XXXX-2 running towards it with a panicked look on its face.

Agent GLASS arrives at the horse barn on top of Mount Mantis. He raises his hat, surveying it.

The wind whistles and whines, causing the microphone to peak. GLASS appears to hold his hat against his head to keep it from flying off.

GLASS: Goddamn!

GLEN: Everything good, Mr. GLASS?

GLASS screws his hat down so that it's firmly planted around his cranium.

GLASS: Yup. Probably shouldn't have brought this thing. Flies off my head like a mothafucka.

GLEN: Copy that. Ready to proceed?

GLASS chuckles.

GLASS: I'm at your command, ma'am.

GLEN: Just wanted to check in, sir.

GLASS: Just sayin'… it don't matter if I'm ready or not.

GLEN: You seem to be apprehensive, sir.

GLASS sighs.

GLASS: I knew the lady who worked here. Sweet woman.

GLEN: Ah yes, I remember. Take your time, Mr. Glass.

Mr. GLASS pauses before clearing his throat and straightening himself out, letting out a deep sigh.

GLASS: Nah I'm good, I'm good. What's to do?

GLASS proceeds to turn on his flashlight and enter the barn. When entering, his light illuminates a decaying wood-paneled wall. As he continues to scan the room, he sees clumps of tiny shadows circling around the stable in the very back corner.

GLASS pans his flashlight down to reveal a writhing shape.

GLASS: I've detected some movement.

GLEN: Copy, ready to proceed?

GLASS: Yes, cautiously.

GLEN: Lead the way. I'll be here.

GLASS: Copy.

With careful steps, GLASS approaches the area of activity. A low buzzing noise can be heard through his microphone.

GLASS lowers his light slowly, revealing tangled patches of fur. What is revealed is an infant cervidae (deer fawn), twitching on the floor, with its eye sockets swelling with feasting larvae.

After drawing a swab, GLASS squats down to receive a sample. He then holds the sample up to his bodycam.

GLASS: You wanna make a record of that?

GLEN: Copy, they appear to be Acronicta leporina² hatchlings.

GLASS: Hmph, like the ones in the office?

GLEN: Yes, Mr. Glass, like the ones in the office.

GLASS: Hate those fuckin' things. They make my skin tingle.

GLEN: Whether you like them or not, Mr. Glass, they share this world with us. This is their home as much as it is ours.

GLASS: 'Suppose, just wish they understood the concept of private property.

GLEN chuckles and then sighs. GLASS proceeds to place the sample into a plastic tube, and then puts it in his back pocket.
