I didn't know all the joy I could levy
til I rose to my feet in the merciful sun
and the voice in my head said "someday you'll be buried;
you'll return to the stars, but today's not the one"
I stood in awe inside a temple
of a God I didn't know — wanna go
find the one who understands
why we wait for pain to change us
to let me know that life is fragile
It takes a village to raise a— uhhh, to raise a child… And this time, I was privileged to be part of a village of several writers, coders, and artists, all working together over the course of several months to raise several children. This Anthology, for many reasons, was a very special experience for me, and I will always remember fondly the weeks spent writing, talking, and joking with this team. You are all so wonderful, and please never question your power at the pen.
Special thanks to Yossipossi, for everything;
to xexnoncores, for pointing out that Sun was really the main character of this story;
to psul, for some wicked-good line-by;
to S D Locke, for giving love to the first draft;
to Luxaiko and
GraveCreations, for their incredible free art (among other things);
to my off-site friends John and Laura, who damn-near bled over a line-by that was crucial to the overall development of the work;
to my other off-site friends Kitty and Sam, who were constantly rooting for me from the very moment I knew I was going to be writing Chesed;
to several others, whom I cannot name, for the sake of secrecy;
and to Eccentric549, for keeping me sane when I need to be, and irrevocably insane at all other times.
Wow, it's crazy to think this has been in development for over half a year. It feels like we started just yesterday (at least, in terms of stress, lol).
Welcome to the SCP Anthology 2025! This year's theme is the Kabbalah Tree of Life, a central part of Jewish mysticism. We have ten entries planned, starting from October 21st and being posted one a day until Halloween night! I hope you enjoy what we've been cooking this year!
Much like the 2024 SCP Anthology, this year's hub has its own aesthetic flavor: Disco Elysium! I love the artstyle and presentation of the game, and I felt it would work swimmingly in combination with a horror anthology centered around the Sephiroth of the Tree of Life.
I would like to thank my collaborators for all of their incredibly hard and dedicated work, of which this page would (quite literally) be impossible without:
Thank you to all of the authors who wrote for this year's anthology; I would thank you by name, but, well, you know. Winkie face emoji here.
And, of course, thank you to S D Locke for your permission to run this year's anthology, along with your continued critique and morale support!
That's all for now. Keep your eyes peeled; God is watching, after all.
יִהְיוּ לְרָצוֹן אִמְרֵי פִי וְהֶגְיוֹן לִבִּי לְפָנֶֽיךָ יְהֹוָה צוּרִי וְגוֹאֲלִי
Hello everyone. It has been one year since I published SCP-8980.
SCP-8980 was a very difficult piece for me to write. I began drafting it in May of 2024, and didn't stop working on it near-daily until I posted it October 6th of that same year. The entire time, I had assumed it would just be a labor of love, and would only be appreciated by a small group of Wiki authors, who would shill it endlessly trying to push its rating past +200. I did not have high hopes for the article even if I was proud of it, due to its length and its squeezed placement between other SCP Anthology entries.
Obviously, that did not happen. Within twelve hours it had hit +100, then +200 in thirty-two, and then +300 in seventy-two. It was a reception I could not possibly comprehend; videos, viral TikToks, analysis threads, and more — far, far more. It was both very shocking, and also very comforting, to know I was able to touch the hearts of so many people with my writing.
It has been a year since then. My mental state has improved steadily, and while I've regressed into depressive episodes occasionally, my life has been an upwards-inclined slope. I'm eternally grateful for the people in my life who have made it worth living, and thank God for the providence afforded to me. If I've learned anything in the interim since posting, it's that there's enough light in the world for all of us — never lose hope.
The poem (or, well, set of poems) is the first I've ever written. I apologize if it's not particularly elegant; I nonetheless attempted to use the principles of poetry to the best of my ability to convey the emotions of the characters and the themes of the piece. Each character I drew upon different parts of myself to write their respective poems.
I want to thank several people (in no particular order, and certainly not an exhaustive list) for their impact on me, related to this article:
And thank you for being here. I appreciate you.
That's a lotta SCPs.
That's also, by total coincidence, almost EXACTLY how many words are in this scp. So yeah, pretty cool.
Hope ya like it, I liked writing it. :)
Stacy Femcop's pronouns are he/they. I'm probably gonna do more with him in the future, but who can say!
I would like to thank Wynths for their feedback as I scrambled to get this thing in a solid state before the deadline.
This is my first skip in over a year! I figured this contest would be a good opportunity to get back into writing these things. Here's to many more!
It's my birthday. Felt important to clarify that before continuing. As a gift, you can give me upvotes to the left. Thanks.
This article comes from a personal place and is extremely metaphorical, in the sense that it's a metaphor for many, many different things that coalesce under a similar banner. Thankfully, I'm not much like the protagonist of this article, in regards to almost everything besides a few key details. I don't know how much of it will get across, but I hope the piece will be impactful regardless. I encourage readers to elaborate on their own interpretations in the discussion.

this is the most amount of time i've spent on bullshit in my entire life.
This is an (affectionate) parody of the SCP Anthology 2024, run by S D Locke! That page was a tribute to Rod Serling; this one's just goofy shenanigans vaguely flavored like him.
Currently, none of the placards have actual entries attached to them. But, if you post an article inspired by any of the placards (that at least vaguely follows the story of the audio recording) and it's not low-effort, I would be happy to link it from this page! ^-^
Big thank you to Jak Mockery, my coauthor, for playing the voice your hear in the audio recordings. He put in insane effort for this project, and it literally would not be possible without him. Hire him for your projects and follow him on BlueSky NOW!!!
Also thank you to the following people who helped contribute to this project:
All licensing information can be found in the page's license box at the bottom!
I don't have a lot of tips for translators this time, besides "I'm so sorry." Nonetheless, please feel free to reach out to me if you intend to translate this and have any questions or ideas!
Happy April Fools, everyone!
Welcome to the SCP-8630 Testing Log! This purely exists as a scapegoat so people don't say I wasted the potential of SCP-8630 lol
Some general rules for contributing:
I reserve the right to remove entries (or slightly modify for SPaG). That being said, don't be afraid to get funky with it. As long as your entry is at least not bad, I'm totally chill with it. Have fun!

This was an idea I originally had back during the SCP-7000 Contest. djkaktus wanted to get a bunch of luck-related prompts from friends and pick one at random. This one was picked, but he eventually scrapped the draft.
I was showering yesterday when suddenly out of nowhere the punchline for this article clicked in my head. I dropped everything I was doing (after I finished the shower, I mean) and immediately wrote this in an hour. A day of critique later, and here we are.
It's a bit of a silly article, but I think some levity is necessary after the agony that was SCP-8980. Don't worry, I'll go back to writing pain soon. :P
