Right. I've been putting this off for fucking ages, so time to get down to it:
The idea is of a kind of living road network that can grow like a tree. Now, now, yes, very underdeveloped, but lemme go on. So, I think that it might be able to sort of transport objects, like a tree would transport water or sap. It could also communicate with road signs and the like.
