Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX's entrance is kept guarded and no civilians or unauthorized personnel are permitted to enter.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a spacial anomaly located in a nightclub called "Marion's Abstractions" in SoHo, New York City. SCP-XXXX's interior appears to be identical to any non-anomalous popular night-club, complete with a bar and elevated stand for a DJ surrounding a wooden dance floor. SCP-XXXX is inhabited by between one and two hundred dancers, none of whom respond to external stimuli, and all of whom continuously dance, with occasional bathroom breaks or trips to the bar. No dancers have ever been observed to attempt to leave the vicinity, but occasionally dancers will enter a bathroom or go behind a curtain and not return, despite thorough investigation revealing no anomalous activity in either of the two locations. SCP-XXXX's entrance, which leads into a door on the western wall of the room, is identical to a door on the eastern wall of the room. The door, when entered, leads to an exact copy of SCP-XXXX, which continues this way indefinitely which has not been explored extensively enough to determine exact length. For currently unknown reasons, personnel sent into SCP-XXXX are never able to make it beyond a few rooms before losing contact or feeling the uncontrollable urge to exit the building.

Addendum 01 - MTF K-4 exploration log, 5-16-2020

[Begin Log]

K-α enters SCP-XXXX, followed by K-β and K-γ. SCP-XXXX's interior is unremarkable.

K-α: Interior appears to be identical to description with no notable deviations.

K-β: Music's actually quite good.

K-α: Proceeding to eastern door.

MTF K-4 walks through crowded dance floor to the other side of the room, shoving dancers out of the way.

K-γ: Kinda loud though, yeah?

K-β: Don't go to a lot of clubs?

K-γ: Not really.

DJ: Special shout-out to Hugh Humphrey, the Grandmaster DJ of Friday night dubstep!

K-β: It's Saturday though.

K-γ: I don't think these fellas know what year it is, much alone day.

K-α: Entering eastern door.

MTF K-α opens the eastern door and walks through. The other members of the group follow.

K-α: We've entered our second room. Music is the same, DJ is the same, dancers appear to be different.

K-β: You sure? I think I recognize that guy.

K-γ: Which guy?

K-β: That guy in the baseball cap.

K-α: I don't think it's the same guy, the one before had a black shirt with white text, he's got blue stripes.

K-γ: Does it matter?

K-α: Not at all, proceed to eastern door.

MTF K-4 proceeds to the eastern door of the room, enters it, and does so twice more without any notable discoveries.

K-α: We've entered our fifth room with no changes yet.

K-β looks around for a moment before turning back to the group. She is visibly confused.

K-β: Where do you reckon we're headed next?

K-γ: The eastern door, like we've been doing.

K-β: Where do you think it's going to take us?

K-α: That's not important, we need to keep moving.

MTF K-4 proceeds to the eastern door of the room and enters it.

K-α: We've entered our fifth room.

K-β: Well I'll be damned, it's another identical room.

K-γ: You'll be damned? What do you mean?

K-β: I… ah, I've forgotten. Nevermind that.

K-α: Focus, we should be going somewhere… though I'm not quite sure which way to proceed.

K-β: What about that door? We've been going through doors, maybe that one's the right one.

K-γ: Are you sure? We have no idea what could be behind it.

K-α: We could wait here… no, actually… I think we should go through it.

K-β: We're explorers, we explore. It's our whole job.

K-γ: We're what?

K-β: Explorers.

K-γ: Yeah but… then why are we called explorers?

K-β: Because we explore stuff?

K-γ: Mmm… no, that doesn't sound right.

K-α: We need to keep moving, let's just go through that door and see what happens.

MTF K-4 proceeds to the eastern door of the room, enters it, and does so once more without any notable discoveries.

K-α: We've entered our seventh room.

K-β: Holy crap, is this like, the same room we were just in?

K-γ: Looks like it.

K-β: Creepy.

DJ: Special shout-out to Hugh Humphrey, the Grandmaster DJ of Friday night dubstep!

K-β: Isn't it Thursday, though?

K-γ: I don't think so…

K-α: It's Saturday.

K-β: Ok but I was pretty close, though.

MTF K-4 proceeds to the eastern door of the room, enters it, and does so once more without any notable discoveries.

K-α: We've entered our ninth room.

K-β: Oh, oh! This one looks different from the last one!

K-γ: Does it? I can't really remember.

K-α: Noting that room nine differs from room eight in a number of ways, notably the presence of a large crowd of dancers, a bar on the northern wall, and a DJ stand on the southern wall. The dancers do not appear to have noticed our presence.

K-β: Should we try to communicate?

K-γ: Yeah maybe they'll have some valuable information.

K-α walks up to a dancer and attempts to call attention to himself, but is unable.

K-α: Hello, madam? How long have you been dancing here? Where are we- ah, forget it, she's ignoring us.

K-β: Try another, maybe someone else will respond.

K-α walks up to another dancer and attempts to call attention to himself, but is unable. K-α attempts to communicate with 16 total dancers before giving up.

K-β: How about that guy, maybe he'll respond.

K-α: Hmm, maybe, but we should keep moving.

K-γ: Where?

K-α: I'm not sure… just follow me.

K-α walks towards the eastern door. K-β and K-γ walk in opposite directions.

K-α: Hey, where are you guys?

K-β: I'm over here!

K-β walks over to K-α. K-γ sees the group and slowly walks over as well.

K-α: Alright, I found this door, let's see where it leads. Might have some information on the other side.

K-β: Oh, good idea.

K-α attempts to open the door by pushing against it but is unable.

K-α: Hmm, it isn't opening.

K-β: What if you use the doorknob?

K-γ: You think that will work?

K-α: No harm in trying.

K-α turns the doorknob and pushes against the door, which opens. The group walks through, into another room.

K-α: We've entered our tenth room.

K-β: Maybe one of these guys will be able to tell us something, since the last ones weren't so helpful.

K-α: Good idea, I'll see if I can attempt communication with any of the inhabitants.

K-α walks up to another dancer and attempts to call attention to himself, but is unable. K-α attempts to communicate with 3 total dancers before giving up. The group wanders around the room before finding the door and entering it. They repeat this process twice more.

K-α: Entered… shoot, I lost count.

K-β: Oh, oh! This one looks different from the last one!

K-γ: Does it? I can't really remember.

K-α: Noting that this room looks different from the other one. There's people… we're in a place… it's got four walls, I think. And dancers. There is also…

K-α stops talking and begins wandering around the room.

DJ: Special shout-out to Hugh Humphrey, the Grandmaster DJ of Friday night dubstep!

K-γ: What was that noise? Where did it come from?

K-α: I don't know. We need to be careful.

K-β: Why?

K-α: I… I forget.

K-β walks up to the bar and turns back towards the other members of the group.

K-β: Hey, I think I found something!

K-α and K-γ walk slowly to the bar.

K-γ: What is this thing?

K-α: Liquid… or maybe…

K-α trails off.

K-β: They're kinda colory, like sort of weird in a way.

K-γ: Blue… no, not blue. None are blue. That's sad.

K-α: Who's sad?

K-γ: Me. No, not me, I forget.

K-β: Heyyyy… where are we supposed to go now?

K-α: Maybe we could…

K-α trails off.

K-γ: Whoa, what's that?

K-γ walks over to the eastern door and points at it.

K-α: Hey I think I remember… it could have something inside it or if we go in…

K-α trails off.

K-β: Well what if we just do this?

K-β grabs the doorknob and pulls on it for a number of seconds before turning it and opening the door.

K-α: Oh, very good. Very good.

The group walks through the door and into the next room.

K-α: Oh look, it's a place again.

K-β: There's even more stuff in here! How are we ever going to see all of it?

The group spends 45 minutes exploring four more rooms before ending up in the seventeenth room, which has no notable differences.

K-α: Biiiig place.

DJ: Special shout-out to Hugh Humphrey, the Grandmaster DJ of Friday night dubstep!

K-β bursts out laughing. K-γ stares at the ceiling for a moment before sitting on the ground and beginning to attempt to remove his shoes. K-α walks up to a dancer and attempts to draw attention to himself but is unable.

K-α: Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi!

K-β grabs the camera off of K-γ's body-suit and looks into it.

K-β: Whoooaaaa, that's so cool.

K-γ swings at the camera, sending it crashing onto the ground.

K-β: Oh wow, why did it do that?

K-γ: I don't know.

K-α: Lemme try.

K-α grabs K-β's bodycam and smashes it onto the ground. The group laughs uncontrollably.

K-β: No fair, I liked mine.

K-α: Try it!

K-β jumps in the air and lands on his bodycam, which breaks. Video feed terminates.
