Security Procedures
Under special order of the FSPAA, the Tigaxia system has been placed under an executive prohibited zone to prevent unauthorized use and distribution of Tigaxinite.

Delta Base's current assigned ship for pickup of Tigaxinite is the OFS SETMAN.
The current acting Delta Commander is Samuel Ranentark, active under FSPAA executive Jean Van Quay.
Facility Description
Delta Outpost, circa 2061.
Delta Base was commissioned by the FSPAA after the discovery of Tigaxinite by scientists from (then-science-outpost) Delta on the planet Tigaxia Five. The existing infrastructure and partially-damaged sections on Delta was upgraded and expanded to hold approximately a hundred personnel - compared to the previous thirty.
Unused computer systems from the programs of the 1970s were retrofitted with new technologies and installed onto the outpost as well; the resulting computerized system was given main control over all auxiliary functions of the Base and a human interface, created from the existing ANDANI projects, called Delta Computer (DELCOM) was given to the system. The outpost's power generator was also modified from a standard photovoltaic system to a high-energy fission reactor (similar to those in personnel rockets) to accommodate the extended usage of the additional mining equipment and onsite refinery.
Delta Outpost was christened Delta Base in 2070 following the arrival of its first Commander, Neal Barnaby, as well as the 67 newly-assigned base personnel aboard the OFS PARANOIMIA. The base's primary mission is the production and quadrimesterly shipment of Tigaxinite to Tighella Galaxy Main Control [TGMC] for immediate redirection to Main Galaxy Main Control [MGMC]. The PARANOIMIA remains fully docked with Delta Base should an emergency force the complete evacuation of the base. A full personnel list, inventory tallies, and other related files are available to personnel with prerequisite access.
The long-term success of Delta Base will determine the extent of further development on Tigaxia Five.
Location History
Tigaxia Five was discovered and named along with the Tighella Galaxy following the revival of the Frontier Operation (itself being a direct extension of the original 2019 LANCER project). While the planet was considered to be relatively ordinary, it was selected by random chance for the establishment of a FSPAA outpost.
The planet was given a LE designation with the approval of the O5 Board following the commission of Delta Base. The quasi-metallic material Tigaxinite - when refined - acts as a variable heatsink without any thermal loss, apparently bending the conservation of energy. Application of Tigaxinite is invariably useful in applications regarding extended heat exposure in both space and on the ground. However, unrefined Tigaxinite is volatile: it is unable to properly contain stored energy within itself. Should the volatile material experience an unstable influx of energy, it will release all previously stored energy similarly to a localized supernova.
Usage of Tigaxinite as an explosive is strictly prohibited.
INCIDENT NOTICE
The following files were transmitted on January 22th, 2097 through Data Probe I5 and received by TGMC along with a complete information secession from Delta Base's DELCOM.
All logs were trimmed to their pertinent information.
