There is no Happy End

There is no happy end

It's only just the end

There is no happy end

It's only just the end

There may be happy later, happy now and happy then

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: A fence has begun to be constructed around SCP-XXXX. Due to its effect, this fence will not be finished.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large organic structure resembling a surgically removed human uterus on a shore in Planford, Virginia. SCP-XXXX retains the shape as if full of a liquid. SCP-XXXX is believed to be filled with the concept of "beginning", causing adverse effects to objects and subjects entering. The exact nature of this is unknown, due to subjects only being able to begin to comprehend it.

Due to SCP-XXXX not being completely sealed, this concept and its effect has leaked into the nearby area, although with less intensity. Due to the high concentration of the concept of beginning in close proximity to the concept of SCP-XXXX, it is believed that these concepts have entangled.

Addendum: The following is a log of a reconnaissance mission into SCP-XXXX performed by Agent Burrant.

(Burrant begins to crawls into SCP-XXXX.)

Burrant: I better be getting a pay raise for this.

(Burrant begins to examine the interior of SCP-XXXX.)

Burrant: Whelp, a whole lotta nothing from the looks of it.

(Burrant begins to cough, he begins gasping for air.)

Burrant: (Strained.) What— is—

(Burrant begins to begin. Burrant falls to the ground.)

Burrant: (Continues gasping.)

(Burrant begins beginning the beginning of beginning. Burrant begins convulsing. Once he has begun, he begins screaming.)

Burrant: (Begins screaming louder.)

(Burrant's vocal cords begin to shred as the screams begin to grow exponentially louder. Burrant continues to begin beginning, while he begins his own beginning by beginning his beginning.)

Burrant: (Cries.)

(Burrant begins to see the beginning.)

Burrant: (Wet gurgling.)

(Burrant begins being born.)

Closing Statement: Recovery efforts for Burrant have begun.
