Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX instances are to be buried beneath every clothing store in the state of Wisconsin by undercover personnel.

The office complex where SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered has been converted to Provisional Site-920-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 must remain there, and all personnel are instructed to reinforce its delusions at all costs.

Should a company that SCP-XXXX-1 claims to own or work with report a loss in a fiscal year, personnel are to immediately remove all SCP-XXXX instances from its locations and demolish all related buildings.

Provisional Site-920-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX are approximately 800 assemblages of wood, assorted animal bones, cloth, and trace amounts of spider silk, each constructed into the forms of various arachnids.

When SCP-XXXX instances are placed beneath a functioning clothing store in the state of Wisconsin, certain merchandise will periodically be replaced with elaborate and expensive designer clothing. Tags on the clothes mark them as being designed under the "Arshire" fashion line, although no such fashion company publicly exists.

Most of these clothes are physically unwearable, as they exclude holes or possess wholly improper proportions making them infeasible for use. This combined with their expensive listed prices and typically gaudy appearance cause them to widely go unbought by civilians.

An SCP-XXXX instance was found underneath a majority of clothing stores in the state of Wisconsin upon discovery. Removal of SCP-XXXX instances causes an array of adverse effects on the respective store. Exact details vary, but said stores eventually close due to a combination of low sales and sudden unyielding spider infestations.

SCP-XXXX instances are believed to originate from an abandoned office complex in Madison, Wisconsin, where they are found scattered throughout the complex. This location has been completely filled with mannequins, sewing supplies and clothing, most of which bare the same designs as those produced by SCP-XXXX instances.

The building is inhabited by an entity of unknown appearance, designated SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is distinguishable by a feminine voice heard from out of sight. SCP-XXXX-1 self-identifies as "Melissa Arshire", a fashion designer who supposedly owns or works with small clothing stores and larger clothing businesses within the state of Wisconsin to sell its fashion line. All supposedly affiliated stores have denied any involvement with SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 believes its clothing are the top-selling fashion brand in Wisconsin. When contradictory evidence is used to refute this claim
