Item #: SCP-3266

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3266 is located in a standard item containment locker at Site-82. At this time, no other containment procedures are necessary.

Description: SCP-3266 is a small red rubber ball, with the words "For Sally" transcribed onto it. When held, SCP-3266 has been described as giving a "warm" feeling to holders. 1 minute after constant exposure to SCP-3266, subjects have described seeing a tall humanoid entity, invisible to outside onlookers. This entity is described as wearing a black suit, tie, and hat, with most other features obscured.

SCP-3266 users will begin to sob heavily shortly after this entity manifesting. Said user will then mutter the phrase "Thank you" before losing consciousness and entering a permanent comatose state.

All documented SCP-3266 victims have entered this state with a large smile on their face.

Addendum: SCP-3266 was discovered at the doorstep of an abandoned house in Toronto, Canada. This home had previously been owned by Sally Mayors, who had left her home after news of her husbands death. A note was found on SCP-3266 during recovery, reading as follows:

Dear sally.

I know your not in the best of states, so I made you a gift.

It might not be the same.. but… I..

He was a good man. He never deserved this. You never deserved this.

I'm so sorry.
