Conspectus

The Screamers of the Void are the remnants of the Seventh Great Collapse of the Voruteut. The Screamers exist only within the confines of the physical coil, and only few exceptions have occurred¹. It is said The Screamers outnumber the existing one million to one, though this has not been confirmed. Their screams are monumentally powerful, and it is said that those whose ears are tuned to their frequencies go mad.

The Screamers feed off of their observer's minds, like parasites. Should too many people observe them, their power will spill into the physical realm, and their observers will be driven to madness. Their power exceeds the mightiest of minds, and it is believed to be able to reduce civilizations from a cosmic scale to a mere handful of survivors. It has been believed to have occurred at least twelve times.

Traits: The Screamers of the Void are consciousness's, nestled within the very fabric of our reality. They're believed to exist in every universe and live in every object. They are reported to "scream", but it is not known what this means². When "screaming in chorus", the Screamers grow loud enough to manifest. Once the Screamers manifest, they hunt down their prey, and "scream" at them until they die³.
